Hello Adam,

Great post to hear about the CEO's. I have read the HBR list and agree with you on some topics. Still I am uncertain about the ranking methodology adopted by HBR and the geographical preferences taken by them.

Sincerely,

Hello
I have just read this post and it is a good post. Its really interesting to read about those leading sites and companies. It is also good to know about top performing CEOs.Thank you for providing such information.

Adam, very interesting digest. It poses many questions about the value CEOs really provide for their rewards. Can CEOs really create change when their tenures are so temporary? What difference can a prime minister make to a country when his term is four years? On the other hand the Queen or the Pope is there for a lifetime ...
How do you make it clear to the CEOs outside the top 100 that Innovation is necessary, that change is necessary. And have you ever tried reaching for 'white spaces' when you an outpost of a global company in Australia? You get your wrist smacked. 'No innovation for you outside the core interest for you!' (read as 'no soup for you' ex Seinfeld.

With the exception of Apple, most of the companies you mentioned were barely around 10 years ago. It would probably be foolish to expect a mature company like GE to grow as much as these young tech companies.

Very interesting digest on CEO performance. Thanks!

I think they need leaders who are willing to look to the future for their planning.
